Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique, co-prince d\u2019Andorre<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Collectif droits des Femmes 66 (CDDF66) demande l\u2019abandon des poursuites du gouvernement d\u2019ANDORRE pour diffamation contre Vanessa MENDOZA CORTES, Psychologue et Pr\u00e9sidente de l\u2019association andorrane \u00ab STOP VIOLENCES \u00bb qui a \u00e9voqu\u00e9 les pr\u00e9occupations en mati\u00e8re de droits des femmes et des filles andorranes devant un comit\u00e9 de l\u2019ONU en 2019. Cette association milite pour la d\u00e9p\u00e9nalisation de l\u2019avortement et plus de droits reproductifs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019Andorre est l\u2019un des derniers pays au monde o\u00f9 l\u2019avortement est interdit en toutes circonstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le gouvernement d\u2019Andorre a port\u00e9 plainte pour fausse accusation, affirmant que sa bonne r\u00e9putation avait \u00e9t\u00e9 compromise. Vanessa Mendoza Cortes a \u00e9t\u00e9 inculp\u00e9e en 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mercredi 17 f\u00e9vrier 2021 Vanessa MENDOZA CORTES a \u00e9t\u00e9 appel\u00e9e \u00e0 d\u00e9poser devant le tribunal d\u2019ANDORRE et est en attente de son proc\u00e8s pour \u00ab atteinte contre la nation \u00bb. Elle risque jusqu\u2019\u00e0 4 ans d\u2019emprisonnement et une amende pouvant atteindre 30 000 \u20ac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Le fait de poursuivre une d\u00e9fenseure des droits humains respect\u00e9e en raison de son travail l\u00e9gitime et de sa participation \u00e0 une r\u00e9union d\u2019experts d\u2019un organe de l\u2019ONU constitue un acte d\u2019intimidation scandaleux et une tentative de musellement de la libert\u00e9 d\u2019expression<\/em> \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Monica Costa, responsable du travail de campagne \u00e0 Amnesty international. Nous pensons que la France est concern\u00e9e par cette affaire du fait que vous \u00eates Monsieur le Pr\u00e9sident Co-prince d\u2019Andorre. Nous doutons que vous puissiez rester insensible face \u00e0 cette situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nous soutenons l\u2019association STOP VIOLENCES pour leur travail en mati\u00e8re d\u2019am\u00e9lioration des droits des femmes et des filles et demandons aux autorit\u00e9s d\u2019Andorre de retirer les charges qui p\u00e8sent sur sa Pr\u00e9sidente Vanessa MENDOZA CORTES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
