Le sociologue Fran\u00e7ois Dubet publie un livre \u00ab\u00a0<em>Les Places et la chance\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> dans lequel il montre que la promotion de l&rsquo;\u00e9galit\u00e9 des chances ne remet pas en cause l&rsquo;in\u00e9galit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me scolaire. Elle permet seulement de donner une chance aux plus m\u00e9ritants des classes d\u00e9favoris\u00e9es.\u00a0 La suppression de la carte scolaire, la diminution des effectifs et la semaine de 4 jours ne font que renforcer les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s de r\u00e9ussite scolaire en fonction du milieu social.
